Mission & Vision

Why This Journal Exists

Journal of Modern and Versatile Research Approach (JMVRA) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal for multidisciplinary research across science, engineering, technology, management, medicine, the social sciences and the humanities. It exists to give serious work an affordable route to publication that is open about how it works.

A researcher should be able to see how a decision was reached. That is why reviewers’ written comments come back with every decision, why the fee and each optional extra are published before payment, and why the indexing claims on this page link to records you can open yourself.

Editorial Process

From Submission to Publication

Six stages, the same for every subject.

Submission

Submit through the online portal. A Registration ID and Private Key are issued straight away; together they open the paper on the Track Paper page.

Editorial screening

The editorial office checks scope, formatting and similarity (Turnitin / iThenticate, threshold below 15%) before review. Papers outside scope or above the threshold are returned at this point.

Double-blind peer review

Subject reviewers assess originality, method, results and clarity without seeing author identities. Their written comments come back with the decision.

Decision

Accept, revise or reject. Your paper is evaluated by expert reviewers, and acceptance or rejection notifications are sent via email and SMS.

Formalities

Copyright form and the publication charge. A Crossref DOI, hard copy and peer-review report are optional and chosen at this stage.

Publication

The paper is published open access in the monthly issue, the e-certificate becomes available, and Crossref metadata is deposited where a DOI was requested.

Keep the Registration ID and Private Key emailed at submission — together they open your paper on the Track Paper page.

JMVRA is a Transparent, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal (Refereed Journal). Following the discontinuation of the UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing, and in alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines, JMVRA is aligned with UGC's Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals. Because no UGC list is published any more, JMVRA is presented as UGC CARE approved on that basis — it meets the Suggested Parameters — and never with a UGC journal number. Numbers belonged to the pre-2019 approved list, and JMVRA was founded in June 2023. Verify the title and ISSN 2984-8911 on the ISSN Portal (opens in a new tab).

What is JMVRA’s position on UGC and UGC CARE?

JMVRA is a Transparent, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal (Refereed Journal). Following the discontinuation of the UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing, and in alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines, JMVRA is aligned with UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals. Founded in June 2023, after the numbered UGC-Approved list had closed, it has no UGC journal number; it is assessed against the Suggested Parameters instead.

Where is JMVRA indexed and how can I check?

Its records are in Crossref, the ISSN Portal and ROAD, Google Scholar, OpenAlex, Scholar9, Zenodo, ORWave and Academia.edu. Each is linked in the Indexing & Discovery section of this page so you can open the record at the source.

How is the Impact Factor of 11.25 calculated?

11.25 is a calculated metric based on citations from Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar. It is not an official Clarivate Journal Impact Factor (JCR).

Does every paper get a Crossref DOI?

A Crossref DOI is available on request for any published paper (₹300 INR for Indian authors, $20 USD for international authors); DOIs use the Crossref prefix 10.56975. It is chosen after acceptance as an optional service.

What is the publication charge?

₹971 INR for Indian authors (inclusive of GST) or $41 USD for international authors, per paper, charged only after acceptance. It covers review, open-access publication, the e-certificates and the confirmation letter.

What is the last date for the October 2026 issue?

The last date for Volume 4 Issue 10 is 31 Oct 2026. Papers received later move to the following issue.

How do I follow my paper after submission?

Use the Track Paper page with the Registration ID and Private Key issued at submission. Acceptance or rejection notifications are also sent via email and SMS.

Which ethics framework does JMVRA follow?
