Advantages & Role of Reviewer / Referral Partner
Earn 300 reward points for every paper you refer
JMVRA’s RMS exists to recognise the people who make peer review work. Join free, refer a colleague or student, and receive 300 points — worth ₹300 — each time a referred paper is published in Journal of Modern and Versatile Research Approach.

How the RMS Works — Four Steps
-
Step 1Free · no obligation
Join RMS
Anyone qualified can join the Referral Management System as a member. Register yourself by filling in the online form — there is no fee to join and no obligation to review a set number of papers.
-
Step 2Your Referral ID links it
Refer
Refer a colleague or student to publish with JMVRA. Give them your Referral ID, which they enter when they submit their paper. That ID is the only thing linking the referral to your account.
-
Step 3Same peer review as everyone
Publish
The referred paper goes through the same transparent peer review as any other submission. The author receives the acceptance or rejection notification by email and SMS; once accepted and the formalities are completed, the paper is published.
-
Step 4+300 points = ₹300
Earn
300 reward points are credited to your RMS account for every referred paper that is successfully published. Points are visible in your account immediately after publication.
How One Referral Turns Into Points
Every referral follows the same loop. You give a colleague or student your Referral ID; they enter it in the submission form; the paper goes through JMVRA’s normal peer review — a referral never shortens or softens it — and only when the paper is published are 300 points credited to your RMS account.
The ID is the only link between the paper and your account, so share it in writing. A paper submitted without it cannot be credited afterwards, and a rejected paper earns no points — the reward follows publication, not submission.
What Your Points Are Worth
Who Can Join
Anyone who is a genuine expert in a paper’s research field. In practice that means a PhD in the relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least five years of experience in it. JMVRA is multidisciplinary, so specialists from every subject are welcome — engineering, science, medical, pharmacy, management, commerce, social science, humanities, law, education and agriculture. What Referrals Add Up To
Points accrue per published referral, not per submission — a paper that is rejected earns nothing, which is deliberate. The table below shows where the balance sits as referrals accumulate.
| Published Referrals | Points Earned | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 1 referral | ₹300 | Below ₹971 INR threshold |
| 3 referrals | ₹900 | Below ₹971 INR threshold |
| 5 referrals | ₹1,500 | Redeemable |
| 10 referrals | ₹3,000 | Redeemable |
| 25 referrals | ₹7,500 | Redeemable |
What Reviewing Actually Involves
Being on the panel is not open-ended. Papers are sent to you only in your declared subject area, and you can decline any of them without explanation.
What Makes a Good Review
A useful review tells the editor whether the paper should be published and tells the author exactly how to make it better. These six questions cover what JMVRA editors look for in a report.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Confidentiality. A manuscript under review is unpublished work. Do not share it, discuss it or use its findings before publication.
- No public AI tools on manuscripts. Pasting any part of a manuscript into a public AI tool breaches confidentiality, and the assessment must be your own judgement — see the AI Policy.
- Conflicts of interest. Decline a paper if you know the authors, compete directly with the work or have any financial interest — see Conflict of Interest.
- Constructive tone. Criticise the work, not the author. Specific, actionable comments help the author and reflect on you when reports are published.
- Respond to invitations. Accept or decline promptly, and meet the deadline in the invitation so the author is not kept waiting.
Your Certificate & Transparent Peer Review
JMVRA publishes reviewer reports alongside the article, so the work you do is visible rather than filed away. That is what makes the certificate mean something to an appraisal committee.
