JMVRA Approvals & Recognition: Every Credential Beside Its Proof
A credential is only as good as the record behind it. Here are the approvals, licences and registrations of Journal of Modern and Versatile Research Approach — from its status against UGC’s Suggested Parameters and ISSN 2984-8911 to Crossref DOIs on request and CC BY 4.0 — each one linked to the document or registry that confirms it.

Six Facts, Six Sources
Each tile opens the place the fact comes from, so you can check it yourself.
Nine Credentials and Where to Check Each
Verified opens a public registry record. Document opens the original certificate, record or regulation. Policy opens the journal’s published policy that sets out the practice.
ISSN 2984-8911 Verified
The serial registration that identifies the journal in libraries, catalogues and citation systems worldwide.
UGC Suggested Parameters Document
Aligned with UGC’s Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals, with the status of every parameter published. No UGC journal number exists for a journal founded in 2023.
Crossref DOI Verified
DOIs registered with Crossref on request (prefix 10.56975) resolve at doi.org, independently of the journal website.
Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 Verified
The licence on every published paper: free reuse with credit to the authors.
Open access Policy
Every paper is free to read on publication — no subscription and no reader paywall.
Transparent peer review Document
Double-blind review, with the journal’s review certificate recorded on Scholar9.
Similarity screening Policy
Every submission is checked with Turnitin / iThenticate before review; the accepted threshold is below 15%.
Publication ethics Policy
Authorship, misconduct, correction and retraction policies that follow COPE guidance.
Impact Factor 11.25 Verified
11.25 is a calculated metric based on citations from Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar. It is not an official Clarivate Journal Impact Factor (JCR).
The UGC Position, in the Journal’s Own Words
Short form: JMVRA is aligned with UGC's Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals. It is presented as UGC CARE approved on that basis — never with a UGC journal number, and never as “listed”, because no list is published any more.
JMVRA is a Transparent, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal (Refereed Journal). Following the discontinuation of the UGC and UGC-CARE journal listing, and in alignment with the latest UGC-CARE recommendations and guidelines, JMVRA is aligned with UGC's Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals. Against UGC’s 35 suggestive parameters
The final Annexure-I of the UGC notice (16 July 2025) groups 35 parameters under 8 headings; the February 2025 draft had 36. The journal publishes its status against each one.
The gaps are listed openly: repository integration, the acceptance rate, Scopus / Web of Science / DOAJ listing and two citation measures; a print edition and CiteScore are not applicable. Read the full status

From the Numbered UGC List to the Suggested Parameters
The UGC decisions a committee may ask about, in order, with the journal's founding year read from its database record.
- UGC-Approved List of JournalsUGC publishes a numbered list; each journal on it carries a UGC journal number.
- Re-evaluation of the listUGC reviews the list and removes titles that scored low. Numbers from that list belong only to those journals.
- UGC-CARE List replaces itThe CARE reference list supersedes the earlier approved list; no new UGC journal numbers are issued.
- JMVRA is foundedEstablished after the numbered list had closed, so the journal has no UGC journal number to quote.
- CARE List discontinuedUGC's 584th meeting withdraws the CARE list. No replacement list is created.
- Suggested Parameters approvedEight categories of suggestive parameters (public notice 16 July 2025). JMVRA is aligned with UGC's Suggested Parameters for Choosing Peer-Reviewed Journals.

- 2018
UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications
UGC’s 2018 Regulations set the publication rules for appointments and promotion and refer to peer-reviewed, refereed journals. Journal numbers at that time came from UGC’s older approved list.

UGC introduces the CARE list
UGC’s Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics begins maintaining the UGC-CARE reference list of journals, and the numbered approved list ends.

Journal launched with ISSN 2984-8911
Journal of Modern and Versatile Research Approach begins monthly, open-access, peer-reviewed publication across disciplines. It started after the numbered list had closed, so it has no UGC journal number.

UGC decides to discontinue the CARE list
In place of a list, UGC issues suggestive parameters that institutions and researchers use to judge a peer-reviewed journal themselves.

A Permanent Address for Every Paper
A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) keeps a paper citable even if web addresses change. JMVRA registers DOIs with Crossref (opens in a new tab), the registration agency used by most scholarly publishers.
A DOI is added to an JMVRA article on request, at publication. Once registered, it can be looked up on Crossref Search, which opens search results for the journal’s name.
Search the Crossref records ↗ (opens in a new tab) · About the DOI service →
- Your paper is accepted and published online in the current monthly issue.
- You request a DOI (optional: ₹300 for Indian authors, $20 for foreign authors) from the DOI & hard copy page.
- The article metadata is deposited with Crossref — title, authors, ISSN, issue and the article link.
- The DOI resolves at doi.org to the article page, and citation tools read its metadata.
What CC BY 4.0 Lets Readers Do With Your Paper
Anyone may
- Read, download and print the paper free of charge
- Share it in any medium or format
