Payment Security
When a paper is accepted, the bank details and UPI IDs reach the author in an official email from [email protected]. Do not pay unofficial accounts, or anyone who claims to represent JMVRA, unless the email has been verified. If a payment request looks unusual, pause and confirm it before sending money.
Receipt & Invoice
If you need a GST invoice so your institution can reimburse you, send your GST number along with the payment. Receipts follow within 48 hours after payment is confirmed.
A Quick Check Prior to Paying
- Verify the acceptance email — it should mention your paper ID
- Verify the amount — ₹971 INR applies to Indian authors and $41 USD to foreign authors, covering up to 5 authors
- Rely solely on official payment details — taken from the JMVRA website or the acceptance email
- Hold on to your payment proof — and forward it when asked

Practical Tips for Choosing and Using Payment Methods Safely
Paying an online fee involves banks, networks and personal security, so small precautions matter. These suggestions help you complete the transaction smoothly and protect your financial details.
- Confirm the payment page address. Reach the payment page only through the journal's official instructions and check the web address and secure-connection symbol before entering any card or bank details.
- Check international transfer charges. Banks may deduct intermediary or currency conversion costs, so ask your bank how to ensure the full required amount arrives, especially for cross-border payments.
- Use a method you control. Prefer an account or card in your own name where possible, since refunds, disputes and receipts are simpler when the payer matches the author.
- Never share one-time codes. Genuine payment processes do not ask you to read out verification codes or passwords to anyone by phone or message. Treat such requests as warning signs.
- Save the receipt properly. Download the receipt, rename the file with the manuscript identifier and store it with your submission records in case your institution later asks for proof.
Use only the official payment route, confirm the amount that actually arrives, and keep your receipt filed with your manuscript records.
