Here you will find the problems that authors, reviewers and conference organizers most often face once they have submitted to JMVRA, each paired with the practical and up-to-date action to take. If you prefer a wider help centre organised by category with live search, visit the JMVRA Help Center.
Registration ID Lost
Look through earlier confirmation emails, spam and promotions folders included, for the message you received when you first submitted. When it truly cannot be located, write to [email protected] giving the paper title and roughly when you submitted. Searching by the journal name often turns it up quickly.

Paper Marked Accepted but Still Unpublished
Check, in order:
- Your payment status
- Were all the post-acceptance documents received? (refer to the 7-step checklist)
- Has the final manuscript been confirmed as correct?
- Was a correction asked for that you have not yet completed?
- What the present production and publication schedule is
Payment Made but Status Reads Unpaid
Hold on to your proof of payment and write to [email protected] including:
- Registration ID
- Transaction ID
- Payment date
- Paid amount
Author Name Is Incorrect
Where you can, reach out to the editorial office before publication, since fixing a name at that stage is much simpler. Changes to metadata that is already published are made by the editorial office itself; authors cannot alter it on their own. Send the exact spelling you need in writing.
Certificate Contains an Error
Please do not alter it on your own. Ask [email protected] for a verified reissue, quoting your Registration ID (or the DOI/paper reference) and stating precisely what must change. You may also read How to Download Your Certificate.
DOI Fails to Resolve
| Check | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Exact DOI string | Even one wrong character produces a different identifier that is not valid. |
| Punctuation | Both letter case and punctuation matter in a DOI. |
| Registration status | Make sure the DOI has really been registered and was requested for your paper. |
| Landing-page availability | Now and then the registry entry and the live page need a little while to match up. |
Paper Not Showing Up in Google Scholar
This is not always a fault. Whether a paper appears externally rests wholly on that platform's own crawling, indexing and technical rules, so no journal, JMVRA included, can guarantee a particular date for inclusion. Patience, plus clean metadata on the article page, is the best approach.
Paper Not Showing Up in Another Database
Confirm the precise database name, the coverage policy it currently follows, your paper's metadata and how often it indexes new content. A database does not necessarily index a paper right after publication, and none covers every journal automatically.

Getting the Best Results When Contacting the Editorial Office
- Pick a single channel — write to [email protected] or use WhatsApp on +91 91063 65667, not both together
- Place the paper ID in the subject line — and briefly describe the problem
- Include proof — error screenshots, payment references or the right spelling of names
- Write from the email address used at registration — so your message can be linked to your record
- Stay in one thread — answer within the existing conversation instead of opening fresh ones
Avoiding Problems in Advance
| Problem | Prevention |
|---|---|
| Lost IDs or keys | Keep the submission email and a screenshot of the confirmation page |
| Incorrect names on certificates | At submission, list each author once, exactly as the name should be printed |
| Unmatched payments | Write the paper ID into the payment reference, and hold on to the receipt |
| Missed decisions | Look in spam folders and keep your phone number up to date |
| DOI questions | Ask for a DOI only once the paper is published, using the official request page |
Solving Submission Problems With a Calm, Clear Approach
Delays and mismatched details are common and usually fixable. These habits help authors resolve issues quickly and give the editorial office what it needs to help.
- Gather evidence before writing. Collect screenshots, confirmation emails and payment receipts in one folder. A complete set of evidence lets staff investigate without repeated back-and-forth messages.
- State the problem in the subject line. Use a brief subject that names the issue and your manuscript title. Clear subjects are routed faster and are easier for you to find later.
- Describe one issue per message. Keep each email focused on a single matter, with the steps you already tried. Mixed requests slow down replies and are easily partly overlooked.
- Allow reasonable response time. Wait a sensible period before sending a reminder, and keep your tone courteous. Polite follow-ups are far more productive than repeated urgent messages.
- Store credentials securely. Keep identification numbers and keys in a password manager or a protected note. Safe storage prevents the stress of searching for lost details at a critical moment.
Be organised, specific and polite when you report a problem, and most submission difficulties will be resolved with little delay.
