Fixing an Incorrect Certificate
Should a certificate show a wrong name or title:
- Never edit the certificate file on your own
- Write to the editorial office at [email protected]
- Give your Registration ID or DOI/paper reference
- State precisely what correction is required
According to JMVRA's present help content, correction requests should be emailed to [email protected] so that a verified reissue can be made.

Putting Your Certificate and Published Paper to Use
The publication certificate, the confirmation letter and the published PDF each serve a different purpose. Knowing which one an evaluator wants avoids repeated requests:
| Purpose | Most useful document | Also include |
|---|---|---|
| File for promotion or appraisal | The published PDF plus the link to the article page | Certificate, and the journal ISSN 2984-8911 |
| Progress reports or submissions for a PhD | Published PDF | An acceptance or confirmation letter, should your university request it |
| Applications for jobs or scholarships | A complete citation with the link or DOI | The certificate as supporting proof |
| Grant report | Citation, link and the funding acknowledgement in the paper | |
| Personal record | All of the above | Payment receipt and related correspondence |
Hard Copies, DOIs and Further Requests
The soft copy of the certificate, together with the confirmation and acceptance letters, is covered by the publication fee. A hard copy of the certificate or of the journal, a Crossref DOI and certain reports can be had on request; see DOI and hard copy requests.
- Verify the details first — the names, affiliations and title on the soft copy must be right before anything is ordered in print
- Give your paper ID — in every request, so that the editorial office can locate your record
- Retain the confirmation — for any request or payment connected with your file
Looking After Your Publication Certificate and Paper Files
Once your paper is published, the certificate and final file become part of your academic record. These suggestions help you store them safely and spot problems while they are still easy to correct.
- Proofread the certificate immediately. Check every name, spelling, affiliation and title against your submitted manuscript as soon as you download it. Reporting a discrepancy early keeps the correction process short.
- Keep several safe copies. Store the certificate and paper in cloud storage and on an external drive, using clear file names. Losing a single laptop should never mean losing proof of your work.
- Name files meaningfully. Rename downloads to include the surname, topic and document type. Descriptive names make it simple to attach the right file to applications, promotion forms or annual reports.
- Share the link, not only the file. When showing your work to others, point to the official paper page whenever possible, because it displays the verified record and the latest version.
- Write correction requests clearly. If something is wrong, state the incorrect detail, the correct detail and the evidence, such as a passport or identity page. A tidy request is easier to process.
Download, check and back up your certificate and paper straight away, and report any mistake with clear evidence while the record is fresh.
